Go_A is a Ukrainian elekro-folk band that combines Ukrainian authentic vocal, modern dance beats, African drums, and a powerful guitar drive into an explosive musical mix.
A live performances have an incredible energy, dance ethno-drive and a special dialogue with the public that is actively involved in the concert.
The band has managed to take part in many festivals in Ukraine (Jazz Koktebel, Country of
Dreams, Gogolfest, Vedalife, Trypil Circle, Art Picnic of Slava Frolov, Polyana Music Festival, Kyiv Open Air ," White Nights vol2 "," SheFest "), and present Ukrainian music in Israel, Poland and Belarus.
In 2016, Go_A won the "The Best Track in Ukraine" contest. As a result, the song "Vesnyanka" took the first place in the 10Dance chart of the major Ukrainian dance radio "KissFM" for six weeks.
Later in 2016, the band was nominated for the KissFM Record of the Year title. In November 2016, the band released their debut album #Idinazvuk on Moon Records.
Later, in early 2017, Go_A recorded a Christmas single in collaboration with Ukrainian singer Katya Chilly.
Go_A is gradually gaining popularity outside Ukraine. In spring 2019, Vesnyanka hits the Top 40 of the iTunes Dance chart in Slovakia.
In early 2020, Go_A took part in the national selection for Eurovision and reached the final. This year they will represent Ukraine in Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
Currently, the band is recording its new EP.
