Social rave
TseSho is an Ukrainian social rave band that explores the problems and challenges of human in modern society.
Through music they ask questions and encourage thought and actions.
TseSho combines electronic and acoustic music, theatre and video art. The composite of text and music includes folk songs, children’s rhymes, traditional and contemporary poetry, the ensemble’s own texts, world news, Facebook contributions, memories and dreams – in Ukrainian and English.
Most of TseSho members are actors of Dakh theatre.
For 2 years of existence they have toured in the US, played concerts in Vienna, Berlin, Venice, Chisinau, Mogilev. Live concerts in Ukraine - Kyiv, Odessa, Lviv, Zaporizhyazhya, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Mariupol, Poltava.
Every TseSho’ concert is a floating trip into the deep river of our own lives which consist of daily work, meetings, conversations, parties, news about war and about cats, love, hatred, own indifference and own riot.
Troughs sounds of voices, cello, doublebass, saxophone, accordion and electronics we dive into the collage tunnel of images from our lives, feelings of our own power and weaknesses, thoughts about our calling.
Through music TseSho explore the problems and challenges of human in modern society. Almost all of band members are professional actors so every concert is an eccentric performance.
Every song is a question to the world and to yourself.
Do I want to live like this?...
Social rave is when you dance and cry at the same time.
Let’s rave.
